Charm Swap Update & Friday's Goodies

There are still some charm swap packages on their way here, some from overseas and a few from the US. I know these packages have been mailed, the swappers have notified me...so please be patient, I will update again to let you know when I will be swapping these out.

I went to my all time favorite Yard Sale Store today. This woman just amazes me with what she does with things that we would normally throw away. I bought quite a few goodies today, but I'll only show you one now.

The chair was a purchase I made from her store last month. She took a briefcase and planted some perennials and also some annuals. She also had a tackle box planter there, and also a toolbox planter, plus a drawer from a dress that she cut the sides down just a few inches and put plants in there also.
This is just a side view of it. She told me to take the perennials out in the fall and plant them in the ground, then I can do it over next year, or plant anything else I may want. Her store just amazes me.
Today she had a cowboy boot there with a hole cut in it about at the calf. Then an old piece of tin across the top as a roof for a birdhouse. There was a bird flying in and out of it, and we found out that there is a nest of baby birds in it.
She has now started serving me cold drinks because I just walk around her yard and store in amazement at all the cool things she has.
I even had her come haul some of my junk this week. Yup, today she had the gossip bench I gave her sitting there with a piece of screen across the seat with a plant sitting on it, and on the desktop part, another plant...cute, cute, cute.
