Mr. R took the new furniture news quite well, but the furniture we have, he wants the furniture company to move it back down to the family room when they deliver the new set.....Geeeeesh! It's ugly, it's old...and it doesn't even match anything downstairs. Oh well...
Yesterday I posted a few pictures that I said I would be doing something with them, I held true to the promise to myself. Here is the first picture.

And here is what I made with that picture. I made a soldered glass slidemount out of it, and attached it to a pre-made/bought necklace and earring set and added a pink ribbon charm and just a few leaves. It's for one of our blogland sisters that has breast cancer. Amy, I hope you're not peeking here. Click on her name and go give her a hug, she truly is a remarkable and strong woman with everything she's going through.

This next project that I finished today, I finished out of fear...that's right, MizSmoochielips told me she'd break my arm if I didn't get this done for her soon.....ha....yeah right, I had kids once and I'm not afraid!

Well, that pretty much takes care of today's creativity. Tomorrow I'll be painting, that should prove interesting, I always get stuck painting the trim...grrrrr! I'll be missing the yard sales, so if anyone goes, make sure you've posted what I missed...waaaah!
